The name Faith Evangeline sounded to me like the name of a sweet little lady doing girly jewelry designs and all things foo- foo.  But when mentioned along with her company name, Evil Pawn Jewelry, I thought twice.  Oh don't get me wrong, she's IS sweet.  But those who judge a book by it's cover might think she's more biker chick than chic designer.

Together Faith and I look like night and day, yet we have more in common than I realized.  Mother, creator, imaginer...and we share an intensity that we both pour into our businesses, friendships and in living life.  We also love to adorn ourselves with beautiful things.

Faith has a talent unlike many other jewelry designers whose products come across my desk.  Few take my breath away like Evil Pawn Jewelry.  It's definitely a particular style yet is easily merged into mainstream and can be paired with the likes of a Jackie-O classic style pearl necklace.  But Faith has a huge clientele of not-so-mainstream who love her for her trademark cameo skull design and line up to buy her limited number productions.

A third generation jeweler, Faith builds on years of knowledge and practice and considers everything a work in progress.  A soulful journey of creation goes into every design that is anything but beads on a string.  Faith's creations can involve a polished stone, lace, even feathers.  The mediuim varies but the passion is always evident.

You can find Evil Pawl Jewelry in dozens of stores around the country and even a few abroad. A few of my faves in the Kansas City area that carry her creations: La De Da in the Northland and Avondale Rd, west Plaza.  Of course online ordering is available for those of you reading from outside our lovely Midwest area.
